Since Arsenal FC were granted permission to construct and operate the Emirates Stadium residents have been significantly inconvenienced by noise and disruption (as well as costs to the taxpayer). When applying to build the stadium originally, Arsenal promised not to seek to increase the number of music concerts which are currently limited to three per year. Now Arsenal are planning to break that promise to residents and are applying to increase the number of concerts from three to nine per year. We call on Islington Council to reject the proposals completely.
Please join us in opposing Arsenal Football Club's proposal to triple the number of concerts held at the Emirates Stadium, which will cause further disruption and inconvenience to the Highbury, Holloway and FinsburyPark communities.

I live near the stadium, match days are fine - any noise is intermittent and over in a couple of hours. Concerts last slot longer, into the night and are much louder - combined with sound tests earlier in the day any more than 3 concerts will be too disruptive
