This is not acceptable that a Waste drainage plant be built in Clonshaugh on the doorstep of a residential area that is to service the area of Co. Meath

Portmarnock is one of the few blue flag beaches in Dublin. We cannot afford to have it destroyed by sewage discharge pipe offshore, as the tide will bring in it's contents. Baldoyle nature reserve is close to this also, Sewerage will likely harm the habitat of the birds. If an bord pleanaila won't build a bicycle path t the edge of this, why is it suitable to emit sewage beside it. Areas of howth, Sutton, and Portmarnock are full of residents and tourists to Dublin year round. How is the effluents and smell of sewage going to affect the health of residents and the experience of tourists to the area? It will affect health, affect tourism, employment, environment to mention a few. No to Plant in Coolock.

Ridiculous location for a water treatment plant. The location beside the M50/M1/R139 is prime for housing and business. You really wonder who makes these decisions?.
