Portmarnock beach is the only one on the east coast to have been given a blue and green flag. If this plant goes ahead with the proposed treatment of sewerage it will destroy sealife and cause an environmental disaster. Initially we were told that the water would be given tertiary treatment and clean enough to drink..now only secondary treatment is being proposed. As part of a group of year round sea swimmer, one of many who use the beach regularly for health and recreation purposes, we will also be at risk from poluted water. Also, residents in Swords have had major problems with smells emitting from the plant there which is smaller than the proposed plant. Therefore it is more than likely that all of north Dublin will be affected by air pollution if this goes ahead.

No Sewage Treatment plant for Coolock.!!!. We had a dump in Edenmore for many years. The problem with the foul smells and Vermin coming into our Homes was a Big problem for lots of the Residents. This plant is Unacceptable.!!!

Crony come back in 50 years time and say we got it wrong after a massive pollution damage. Act now and stop this plant from going ahead.

I live in Clonshaugh/Coolock I strongly object to the planning permission been granted for the Sewage Plant. Accidents happen and if it did it would be horrendous to the health and environment of this area.

I don't agree with this plant as I firmy believe it will be an environment hazard and bad for the community's health.

This land us prime land that was originally set aside for hotels and homes because of its close proximity to Dublin city it should remain so and moved to rural area
