City council and Gregor have something in common with these homeless people. They all are career crimminals who are attempting the hesit of the century. Theft of millions of dollars of taxpayer money to give these people a free ride.

Marpole is a nice and quite residential area, lets keep it that way. Homeless bring nothing good. They hang around doing nothing and some of them, take drugs. There are kids playing in the parks in front of the "future shelter", and there is a tennis court across the road. It is not definitely a right place to build that shelter. It is just insane. I am a runner, and I love Heather st and the running trail in from of the Secondary school. I use it several times per week. Can someone tell me if it will be safe, after the shelter is built, to run/ walk on my own along that street? Apart from being really dark ( Council do not like Bc hydro to have too many light post around this neighbourd).
We dont want trouble in Marpole. I moved 4 years ago ,and Im still here cos of the peaceful and green area full of parks and . We do not want a shelter close to Secondary and Primary school, in an area full of parks!! It does not make any sense. There are many ways to help homeless, and of course nobody wanta them close the their place. Just wondering if who took this decision lives in the area....of course not!
I hope the Vancouver Council change their mind ,and put in first the safety and wellbeing of their people.Because building this shelter you might benefit 78 homeless, but you will destroy the whole comunity of Marpole.
Thank you

Say No. It is very sad and stupid decision to build let homeless people living near school areas. I don’t what is the purpose that Vancouvet governments wants to do that. Kid safety is priority and no drug is the community,

the location to close the school.

Totally disagree because 3 schools are around
No TMH next to any school
