While I like the initiative to help house the homeless, I worry about the safety of the children of the school right accross the way. Surveys of homeless in Toronto have shown that 35% of respondents have been diagnosed with a mental illness.

Modular housing is great and needed, but putting them right beside schools may impose health and security risk to the most vulnerable population of our city. Please consider the location of the modular housing and move it towards perhaps more rural or commercial area, away from our children.

We two live on hudson and 67ave. We say no to modular housing because the city can sell the land and buy a bigger land to help homeless in lower mainland. An average working class can't afford living in the area and why the city pay a premium to settle homeless

We totally disagree, this is too close to the Laurier elementary school and also Churchill high school. So many kids there, this is not safe!
