This location is absolutely terrible for modular housing. Thousands of students pass by daily and can be endangered by this going through.

It is a bad location for this project. We should consider other vacant land like those next to Cambie Bridge, which is close to transit and other amenities. Also there is a vacant by Burrard Bridge next to the Molson Brewery. Next to school is definitely a no no.

OPPOSITION TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TEMPORARY MODULAR HOUSING PROJECT LOCATED AT THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF 650 W 57TH AVE VANCOUVER, BC. The petitioners respectfully request that the Mayor and Council ORDER THE IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE PROPOSED PLAN AND RELOCATE THE PROJECT TO AN ALTERNATIVE SUITABLE SITE THAT IS NOT IN THE PROXIMITY TO SCHOOL ZONES.

It is wrong to sacrifice children and neighbourhood safety for politicians’ political credit. How about choose a site at Point Grey near the beach? How about choosing a site in Shaunessey? Please do the right thing by controlling developers’ marketing and building mix so families can buy the right houses they need instead of letting people flip 1-2 bedrooms units.

The governments: provincial, city & all political parties, do not forget you are in place as PUBLIC SERVANTS; to ensure a safe, secure & healthy environment for ALL citizens who put you into your offices. You current plan to put Modular Housing project right in the mids of One large Highschool, one good size Elementary school, one mini Annex school AND an established not yet relocated SENIOR HOME & a very active and growing Marpole community Center. What kind of mindset do you have or NOT have. Do you forget your sworn in duties and PRIORITIES? School Boards and all levels of governments, do not keep silent, you ALL have DUTIES to educate yourselves, in order to perform your elected & sworn in task to the Majority of your citizens FIRST & FOREMOST !!! Do Not implement your plan without CAREFUL THOUGHTS. Thank you. Maria Nov. 05, 2017

The place I am working at is right beside of the shelter, I can't say the people their are not nice, but there are a trouble sometimes when they smoke in the washroom and not coming out. Children are precious in many ways. Please don't let them in danger.
