Zeg nee tegen McDonald's Tervuren en red het park en de gemeenschap

I say no to this type of unhealthy restaurant.

Such a disgusting idea in such a beautiful town.

I am a dual Belgian-US citizen. I have seen the damage this restaurant chain does to local communities in canibalising small businesses and driving them out. Tervuren is a tight-knit community of hard-working individuals and small businesses struggling to get by - especially during these difficult COVID-19 times. Allowing a McDonald’s to open up in our town would ravage the already suffering local businesses not to mention the health of our youth. There is no place for such a Goliath in our community. I passionately disapprove of such a project and implore the city council and the Mayor to STOP the opening of a McDonald’s in Tervuren. McD fans can easily get to nearby Overijse. There is no need for this in Tervuren. Thank you.

Tervuren has no need for a McDonalds - the proposed location of this store will have an extremely detrimental and undesirable affect on the surrounding area! The proposed site’s close proximity to schools, residential area and parkland will bring greater dangerous levels traffic and congestion to an area already overburdened!!

We do not need such services and food in our neighborhood and i would like to support our local business and stay more Belgium traditionnel food.

Tout à fait inapproprié, tant pour la circulation sur cette chaussée déjà largement occupée par les visiteurs du Musée au point que l'entrée de son parking a été déplacée et que par la proximité d'un grand magasin Carrefour. Est-c vraiment de la "nourriture" à proposer près des écoles et d'un musée ? Refusons cette implantation dans une commune qui mérite mieux.

Een Macdonalds in een schoolbuurt is onverantwoord wegens het ontstaan van een obesogene leefomgeving

Dit etablissement zal voor veel gezondheids problemen zorgen bij de VELE kinderen die in de buurt naar school gaan (BSB en GITO onderandere). Werkgelegenheid is goed. Maar we kunnen zeker iets anders vinden. Ik heb ook geen zin dat mijn bus op spits uren nog voller zal zitten of nog later zal komen dan normaal. Dit is echt al slecht in en rond Tervuren centrum.

Placing a McDonald's right outside two secondary schools is a terrible idea. For the health of our children, not to mention the litter and the potential additional traffic disruption on an already congested road, please block this application.

This is a terrible idea for Tervuren school children, Tervuren’s historic environment and Tervuren’s congested traffic environment.

I think this is a really bad idea for local traffic, urban planning, the environment, local business and the health of local schoolchildren. Traffic on that road is terrible at busy times already. Tervuren Park will be full of litter. Local cafes and shops will go out of business. Children at the two schools opposite the site will be targeted for eating fast food.

Impensable vu la proximite de trois ecoles

As a former resident of over 20 years in Tervuren with family still in the commune and as a lover of the wonderful Tervuren Park, I strongly oppose the proposal to bring McDonalds into a town and park environment which it will do little to enhance. The quality of life of Tervuren will be seriously damaged if this scheme goes ahead and it offers little but commercial profit to a handful of people

Hallo, Het verkeer op de Leuvense autosnelweg is al gevaarlijk als u linksaf wilt slaan richting het kruispunt dat uit Tervuren komt. Dit extra verkeer zal de situatie verergeren, wat niet wenselijk is in de directe omgeving van een school.

Ik vind dit alles behalve een goed idee, om alle redenen die opgenoemd worden in de petitie! No for McDonalds! Laat Tervuren de mooie gemeente blijven die het nu is!
