Our children’s education includes the teaching of food, healthy eating and leading a healthy lifestyle. This is present in all school years starting from Kindergarten to Year 13. With present global issues as child obesity, having a fast food establishment in such proximity to 4 schools goes against all these teaching principles.

As a new graduate in the scientific field, I'm deeply concerned by this project. The impact on the neighbourhood would be far from negligible. Tervuren can be proud of its thriving green areas. Such an establishment would have a disastrous impact on the surrounding biodiversity and on the quality of life of the inhabitants. Additionally, the "fastfoods" this restaurant promotes are inhibiting the current efforts to lower obesity prevalence and to increase the health of our children. The location of this establishment (walking distance to many schools) is concerning.

This is a beautiful nature surroundings with forest, park and schools. McDonald doesn't fit here. As a resident live nearby, I don't want to see the traffic getting worse and kids from school going to eat these trash food!! Think of the nature, think of the children, think of our living condition, say no to McDonald!

Dit gaat ten koste van de verkeersveiligheid en de N2 is al heel erg onveilig bij de oversteek punten zonder stoplichten. Ook is fastfood bij scholen een heel slechte combinatie. Wij wonen vlak bij in de buurt en willen geen extra onnodige drukte!
