I have 32 years experience working in healthcare. The studies show that this virus is not a serious health risk for school age children. But wearing a mask is a health risk for otherwise healthy children. Children are not vectors. There is no reliable evidence of asymptomatic spread. Please read the many reliable studies and remove this mandate.

Not a good idea kids will play with the masks more than they learn there will be hi levels of the covid traced in schools and the level of harmfulness when wearing a mask all day like that will harm the children stupid idea

Kids touch their face more with masks on, then they do without wearing one. Increasing the risk of spreading germs to them, and others.

I and MANY of my friends and family will be homeschooling until the mask mandate is removed. Maybe indefinitely now that we’ve been woken up to the overreach of our “supposed conservative” government in this state.

Kids dont need masks. Homeless people dont wear them and no homeless person has died....plus parents that want masks can make their children and rhose that dont shoukdnt have to. Let people choose for themselves! Covid isnt gping away with or without masks

Pediatricians have said that masks for elementary school children are not useful. This should be a parental choice issue.

Oh Hell No!! You can't make these kids wear a Mask for 8 hours!! That is CHILD ABUSE! Come on Gov. Herbert!! REALLY?? We are better than that!! These kids will get sicker than sick because their immune system will be vulnerable! I HOPE ALL the Parents do NOT send the kids to school!!

Sir, these children aren't! the most susceptible of the virus. Yet, there's no speak of protecting them. It's a complete disgrace. Why are they paying the ultimate price for faulty numbers and ridiculous CDC waivering?

This needs to be researched and OSHA needs to make some public statements either explaining the reasons this is dangerous or if they support, they need to explain why they are a conflict of their interest, and not abiding by their own guidelines
