I would love to be able to make this choice for my children. I believe all medical choices should be left up to the parent/parents. Thanks for your time.

Masking Children is the most asinine stupid stunt you could have possible pulled. The teachers will spend the vast majority of their day attempting to keep kids from touching , playing with and removing the damn mask.. Herbert... stop being the idiot that you are..

We need to let them know that we have had several other petitions with thousands of signatures that have been taken down and censored!

I strongly object to my child wearing a mask at school!! The negative consequences of wearing a mask are much more serious than the virus!

Child abuse pure and simple. You will be held accountable for any child harmed!

Making children K-12 wear a mask at school is a ridiculous mandate. I think that the lawmakers that back this mandate should personally experience both ends of this experience. Let the lawmakers teach elementary school and enforce mask wearing for a month. Also, let the lawmakers sit at school for days at a time smothered by a mask for entire school days. As I recall a picture of Governor Herbert and his friends cleaning the capital building, there were no masks in that picture. It’s unbelievable and unfortunate that government has attained this kind of power. Thanks

Teachers should also not have to deal with enforcing face masks in class.

Please rescind the state wide mandate wearing of masks for school children. I feel that this is wrong, hurtful to the children and unconstitutional.

This is child abuse. You can't make a child or anyone else wear a mask all day. You are totally disregarding our mental health.

Based on my own personal study I feel there is absolutely no reason for children to be wearing masks during school or any other time.

Stop imposing unconstitutional mask mandates on our children. Children can not be expected to wear a mask 6 hours a day in school. It has yet to be proven that masks #1 Work and #2 Work without causing health risks to the wearer especially children. The CDC says cloth face coverings "may" help slow the spread of Covid 19. Burden of proof rests with the prosecution. The American people are "Innocent until proven guilty" Vice President Mike Pence said at a recent Corona Virus Task Force meeting press conference that "Even in a health crisis the American people do not forfeit their constitutional rights." and can choose whether or not to wear a mask. CDC guidelines say: Younger children (e.g., preschool or early elementary aged) may be unable to wear a cloth face covering properly, particularly for an extended period of time. Wearing of cloth face coverings may be prioritized at times when it is difficult to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others (e.g., during carpool drop off or pick up, or when standing in line at school). Ensuring proper cloth face covering size and fit and providing children with frequent reminders and education on the importance and proper wear of cloth face coverings may help address these issues.
