I was happy with Gov Herbert in the beginning of the pandemic. I felt he did right for us. I’m no longer happy with Herbert. I feel that he caved. My children will not go to school with masks. It’s absolutely absurd!! I do not feel the teachers and staff should have to wear masks either. It should be their choice.

There is not enough science to prove that our children wearing masks can stop the spread of COVID-19.
There has been research on the dangers of wearing masks.

The research shows children are not getting CoVid. The masks will be more dangerous as germ growing grounds for other illnesses; and also carbon dioxide poisoning.. There are no documentation that children transmit to each other or to adults.

I do not agree that kids should have to wear masks while at school. This should be a choice for parents. Based on the numerous studies of masks not being affective as well as the dangers of breathing less oxygen than the body requires I am strongly against it. I also do not think it healthy for kids to be in an environment where they have to social distance as well as having the face masks. I choose not have have my children exposed to the mental issues that will Inevitably come from the proposed type of environment the schools are now having to adhere to.

Absolutely unhealthy for our young children to wear masks. What 7 year old or 16 year old for that matter can sit for 7 hours with a mask on and not touch it. There is basically 0 death rate for children and make now sense. If an educator is at risk, then they need to be replaced. It is our responsibility as a people to keep our children away from at risk people in our own families, we don't need government to do that for us.

Rescind the requirement for school aged kids to wear a face mask. You are inviting the continued emotional trauma on a population that is statistically irrelevant to the Covid affected. Open Utah schools fully and normally!
