a large KFC drive through restaurant. Such an establishment will do nothing but create mess, noise and extra unwanted traffic. There are lots of schools in the area and we do not need the pupils including my own two children being encouraged to eat such low grade high fat junk food. The proposed site is a residential area and any fast food restaurant will be an eye sore. A restaurant of such nature will also attract unwanted visitors from neighbouring boroughs who will no doubt congregate on the premises and make nothing but mess and noise. In times like these where property and space is hard to find I urge you to ensure this particular site is not wasted on a fast food chain that profits from animal cruelty and contributes to child obesity!!! Allowing this to happen would be encouraging people to eat unhealthy food & will put a burden on the NHS, the councils already struggling waste disposal team will be put under extra pressure. Can you imagine how much vermin will be attracted to the site with all the food waste ( chicken bones) disposed of in the street.
The proposed fast food outlet will cause increased traffic, rubbish and is totally unecessary. Another such outlet exists a few hundred yards up the road. Not to mention the proximity to a school.

I am strongly against this for all sorts of reasons. We already have a kfc and do not need another one, increasing traffic, litter, endangering children and adults on the pavements and wildlife in the area. Why turn lovely gardens into a concrete haven. We don't want this in west wickham at all.

We don't need more fast food chains! I pass the proposed site regularly and it would be an unmitigated disaster: a) the site is near a primary school, b) the traffic implications are huge and c) KFC already have an outlet on Wedt Wickham High Street.

No more fast food outlets blighting our neighbourhood please. Traffic, rubbish, chicken bones, foxes, rats, gangs and unsocial behaviour and none of this will be managed by the authorities. .

There are simply no advantages to having this fast food drive thru in West Wickham and will spoil the look of the area. There is already a KFC half a mile away in the High Street.

There is no need for another KFC as there is already one in the high street. Teenagers from local schools will be tempted to buy unhealthy food and with alarm bells already ringing regarding obesity in this country it will only compound the the problem. Parents walking past with younger children will be put under pressure to buy fast food and they are already having to deal with so many demands to spend their hard earned money they don't need any more. Traffic will worsen and weekends in particular are bad enough as they are. Road safety problems will increase and it will also become a place for adolescents/young adults to gather which will increase the risk of anti social behaviour. The only people who need this is KFC themselves to make more money. What West Wickham needs is nice restaurants and pubs where families can enjoy spending time together.

A drive through is not needed, it is on a roundabout and traffic flow well be in erupted. The crossing for oak lodge school is here and I can foresee accident s happening. This food outlet is already on the high street, why do we need another unhealthy one. As the growth in the fast food outlets continue and people making poor eating choices, why encourage these places? Diabetes is on the increase and the ever growing waistline is part of this. It would make a refrain shiny change for a council to make a stand against these for outlets. I haven't even touched on the litter generated from these places! I say NO to KFC west wickham.

Please do not allow this development. The traffic at on this stretch is horrendous even now - it is impossible to get onto the Wickham Road from Ash, Bridle and Monks Orchard Road. A drive through will increase traffic and make things even worse.

I can't believe this is still being considered!? You cannot subject surrounding homes to the smell, noise, additional traffic, litter & people this would bring. Who would benefit from this? Certainly not the local residents. They pay dearly to live in the borough. How will a drive through takeaway on their doorstep, affect the value of their homes? It couldn't be in a worse position for safe entrance & exit. It's on top of a busy roundabout, where hundreds of schoolchildren cross. It's ludicrous on so many levels. Is anybody actually listening? Who on Gods green earth would want this on their doorstep? I wonder if the people who are all for this, live anywhere near a fast food restaurant? I think not.

We don't need another KFC and we certainly don't need the chaos and pollution that another drive thru would cause. How can a government simultaneously spend millions on the NHS and on promoting healthy eating, and yet approve the licenses of junk food outlets? It's insane.
