It's a slap in the face and no one can tell me that we are in a situation where 6.7bil is just lying around waiting to be used. IMF already has us under some crazy constraints and somehow we are to find the money to complete the prison. Not only that but keep in mind this is all to shift the burden of maintaining the prisoners over to the Jamaican people so we are going to be finding roughly 10 mil pounds per annum. No way someone can face all of this and tell me the obvious fact that we need a prison is enough to warrant all of this

I say no to the £25 million pounds prison gifts. I think the prisoners should do their time where they commit the crime. Give us a Hospital or Schools. WE DO NOT WANT NO PRISON.......

I strongly believe that Jamaica was disrespected. The only mission of Mr Cameron is to get rid of prisoners who are costing UK taxpayers. He has no regard for the effect that this will have on Jamaica. He never even thought our media was worth his time. I am also offended by his stance that we should get over slavery and move on. He was the same person who said we should never forget the holocaust in the case of the Jews. Racism at its lowest.

Why not build / rebuild some Primary Schools? Education may just redirect the young minds. Are the uk prisons filled only with Jamaicans? Maybe innocent ones.. Racist, educated fool.

Not at all... especially if the are born in England or went there from they were extremely young... they should be made to serve their time in the place they committed the crime ... Most of them are produced right there in the UK ... keep them... don't unleash your problems on another society... you created them you solve the problem...
