1. HKR has no regards for the law of HK by ignoring District Planing Office reminder, that the plot is for sports & recreation and not to be used for Parking.
2. On May 12 meeting: I pointed out that they have chosen the most inappropriate location for parking right next to the tennis court & pool where the pollution caused by the vehicle is extremely bad for the health. This is just so thoughtless. Your officer agreed to look into relocating and the next day the digging start. This confirmed the meeting was just a show. That's wasting everyone's time.
3. The fact is there's only 2.5% of the pollution drive a golf cart. How could this benefit majority of DB residents?

We, club members, pay $600 per month for the use of the club facilities and land. So It is not right for HKRI to take away the benefit of club members without any prior consultation with us nor reduction of member fee. Where is our protection?

We pay a lot more money to live in DB for a reason. If our voice is not good enough for you to listen and respect our needs, then you might as well stop taking our money!

There is already little grass space in DB and very few this close to the plaza. Leave our grass alone!

It is shocking to see that HKR has completely ignored the community sentiment. They are pushing forward to take over a piece of land meant for recreational use and turn it into a golf cart park by pretending it is ancillary to the club. In reality they are relocating the existing golf cart park fm the plaza so that they can benefit by reusing the land for commercial use. I support the petition and urge the planning and lands department to stop this unilateral action by HKR.

This area should be for club members only - ones who pay their fees - and not for a small group of residents with golf carts.

I fail to see how changing the use of the green space for a 100 odd parking spaces for golf carts is in the best interest of 1000s of club members who do not have a golf cart.

HKR should not be allowed to reduce leisure space for residents. There is no need to increase Golf buggy parking spaces at the club without justifying the need for extra parking for club members.

Recreational space should be just that. It's not for truck, car or golf cart parking. Essential for any community to have open space to enjoy.

Keep the green lawn at DBRC -- it is used by residents and club members alike, and there is ample parking space for golf carts without turning the lawn into a parking area.

Ample parking space available around Recreation Club. HKR argument members in need is just a smoke screen to push its idea's through. It's illegal and should be prevented by an injunction.

The Golf Cart Parking should be maintained where it is (near pier and commercial centre). Golf Cart Parking is not a recreational use
