prisoners don't need college education at our expense. our kids who work hard in school deserve college educations.

This is ridiculous. My children came out of college with huge college loans that they are still paying 15 years later while the Governor wants ciminals to get a free education. Nice way to treat the law abiding citizens.

i am required to pay my sons FULL college tuition, neither he nor I has EVER been even remotely in trouble with the law. How about if someone pays for his college education!

Restore TAP ...Why reward prisonsers .....OH! maybe college students Working 2 jobs ,paying for food ,and lodging should commit crimes for free education ...What a great idea....

I will possibly have 2 sons in college in the fall, which we are paying for. Let them pay for their own education.

My own children are stuck with college loans. Put more effort in helping the middle class with college tuition. Too much of our paychecks go toward those who are not pulling their weight. Start working with the parents of these children to educate them so they will raise their children to the level of appreciating education right from the beginning in pre-k.

I am a law abiding citizen who works hard every day to support myself and my family. I do everything I can to set a good example for my children. I have tens of thousands of dollars in student loans because I want the best life possible for my family. If this were to ever go in effect it would he a disgrace and an insult to people like me.

No way should taxpayers finance college for inmates. There are people who work to support a college education, why should inmates get one free? I feel this is unfair to taxpayers to pay for this and as far as I feel, inmates get way too much from taxpayers as it is. I do not support this at all.

Hey, if Cuomo wants to spend his personal fortune paying for a convict's college education, more power to him! If a convict wants a college education, he/she can buy one just like the rest of us!

Get Rid of Cuomo he's got to much power. I had to pay for both my kids and i'm still paying that of along with them. Prison is a punishment not a free pass. What and ass hole he is.

I strongly agree with your position against Gov Cuomo giving free tuition to inmates. My son is going to have over 100,000 dollars in school debt when he graduates in 2 years. He also serves his country in the Air Force Reserves while attending college full time. I believe that we should be helping our less fortunate families, military servicemen and women, and voluntary firemen before we help criminals get an education. Inmates already get free health care, roof over their heads plus 3 meals a day. We have many in our communities on welfare or unemployment that are in need prior to inmates. As a society we need to stop giving freebees to the undeserving. I applaud you and fully support you........
