This is wrong for so many reasons. Lets first provide tuition for the law abiding citizens that pay the taxes.

I worked to pay for my education. No free ride. give the money to high school graduates who want to go to college and can't afford it. Before they start filling up jail cells.

the thought disgusts me to the bone our kids work hard and are in debit to better them selves, these assholes, rape ,rob, steel sell drugs,abuse children, kill people and get a free education while my kid risks his life daily to get to school becuae he cna't afford to live on campus!!!! wow hope cuomo gets kicked out!we need to do something about this it's our country we need to fix these things.

My husband and I were born in NYS and still live here. We each owe over $200,000 for our undergraduate and graduate educations. We struggle to pay back our loans each month. It is unjust to have convicted criminals receive free college tuition when members of society who actually are decent law abiding citizens struggle with their bills AND use our tax money to pay for their education when I can barely pay for my own.

I had to pay for my children's education. I do not want to pay for prisoners also. Why are they not getting trained in the trades while in prison. What are they spending so much money on?

I like many of your fellow citizens have student loans that I am paying right now, I have worked hard all my life and never broke the law. The ordasity of giving criminals a free education is ludacrist and a slap in every taxpayers face. It is an insult to all of us honest productive citizens. So Mr . I have student loans that I can't pay right now because I was injured on the job, and nobody is helping me, why should criminals get rewarded for their mistakes?

prisoners should pay double to help out the single mom's and hardworking students that are being charged more than the education is likely worth.
