Are You crazy Cuomo what the hell is wrong with you. Give the money to honest deserving college students!! They had this program years ago in State Prisons. George Pataki did away with it then because it wasn't working it won't work now!!

Most ridiculous thing Cuomo has ever said. He will say anything to get the vote. Win over everyone at the Caucus, then when we all stop him, he can say, "Hey, I tried" Vote for me!! Crazy like a fox, he will 'win' either way.

I went to school for 3 years and got my 4 year degree. I have a job and a family and do not make enough to pay my loans but make too much to get any help. So when the tax money I pay into pays my school loans then

As a working individual, I find it offensive that the governor even considers this as an option. I went to school and now have to pay back my own student loans. Governor, you want to pay for college degrees? Pay for the degrees of law abiding citizens like myself!.

I do not want this to go through I feel it is a slap in the face to taxpayers and citizens who have to work so hard to put their kids through school and kids that leave with student loans that they will be responsible for a lifetime to pay off.

I have $60,000 in student loans and I have a daughter who will be entering college in 2015. I am totally against giving a prisoner a free education. So many people struggle to put themselves or their children through college but you want to give a criminal a free pass? No way in my book.
