If postage costs £10 and I charge £10 (as I'm not permitted to surcharge) I get £9. Will the man at the post office accept £9? NO! It's unfair, unjust and should be unlawful for ebay to charge for a service they are not providing.

This is ridiculous, Ebay overrules postage cost for certain items (i.e mobile phones) and set to actual post office prices, issue is when being charged FVF for the P&P the seller is out of pocket. This is unfair and should be illegal

The greed of Ebay never fails to suprise me, one day there will be an alternative platform and unless things change we will leave Ebay in droves and never go back, just like we did with Royal Mail when they hiked there prices up

Please remove the surcharge on P+P find another way to regulate sellers who charge it all to P+P to avoid paying seller fees what honest sellers are happy to do. Thank you.

I used to be a US ebay power seller and the greed and unchecked monolopy of ebay/paypal is disgusting and only favors buyers and not the sellers.

taking money of a set price that is nothing to do with Ebay is a joke. I understand taking a % of the final selling price, but postage is unacceptable,

Why do this? Is the extra money from the listings that offer free shipping (almost every vendor has a few Free Shipping auctions) not enough?? What is next? Advertisements? Popups?

P&P has nothing to do with eBay, they're just profiteering. You wouldn't get this with an auction room, so why with eBay.

Dont Ebay think they are making enough money already, I am really considering boycotting ebay in protest, give the sellers a chance, listing fees, final sellers fees, paypal fees, your are crippling the sellers Ebay and cutting off your nose to spite your face!!!!

How eBay can justify taking a cut of postage costs is beyond me! Sellers try keep costs as low as possible so as not to deter potential buyers and this is difficult enough when one has to factor in packaging materials, time, costs of travel to and from PO (a £6 and one hour long round trip for me) and the ever rising costs of actually sending the item. Now we have to allow for the greedy big cheeses of eBay's cut. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Yet another reason for your sellers to hate you! Can't win either way- put up P&P costs to compensate, and lose buyers put off by cost, or don't and incur loss that way. Great, just great.
