This is only an example of how Ebay flouts the law . They need to be dealt with . But they are not a UK business so the government are tied . they can't do anything . This has to change .

Scandalous, a total rip of, some might say theft as eBay has nothing at all to do with royal mail or indeed any courier service. It is just yet another way for eBay to make money.

i am sure that this needs to be taken to the trading standards not a petition, Ebay is taking money from a service outside there own control. meaning that your paying 20% for end of sale goods.

This has got to be at the very least, Theft.
The only ones making a profit on postage fees are the post office and any other carriers, NOT the seller

Disgraceful not only do sellers have to pay a portion of the end sale price, plus PayPal fees but now p&p fees too. It's not worth selling on there anymore.

I wish more people would speak out against what ebay are doing.fees are too high and many people end up losing money due to all this fees nonsense.id go so far to say due to the high amount of transactions that happen through them,they should lower the final fee %.but unfortunately far too many people are happy to sit on the sides and stay quiet

Just sold a few items on fleece bay.After paying all the fees the fleece bay and paypal i might as well have given two of the items away for free.I have lost profit on them entirely.

I am with eBay for past 12 years but 90% of my transactions are purchases. I tried to sell some stuff on Ebay and learned, 10% final value fee, 10% on postage which has got nothing to do with eBay and 3% paypal fee, meaning, if you sell some thing for 100, you will have to pay 13 pound excluding final value fee on postage which is 10%.
If you happen to make a mistake listing your item and end auction early due to that mistake, you still have to pay final value fee on the highest bidder. WHAT A RIP OFF
On top, paypal can hold your money for 21 days and use that money with out paying you any interest?
Stupid me, ever thinking selling on eBay. I will AVOID.
I would like to sign the petition and encourage others to do so!
