Last year, I thought the school couldn't get worse. Since 'Dr' Fox has arrived, he's proved me wrong. This school is a joke. Changing the whole timetable while year 10 are preparing for GCSEs and year 11 are doing them is awful. Mixing bands is so wrong. It will make lessons worse. Get this disgraceful man out.

AET- where to start - communication & consultation!! Why is it acceptable that children in year 10 currently working at the same current GCSE grade level be set using data from middle school, therefore you choose one child to be placed on set 1 and the other in set 3 because the 'expected' achievement progress should be higher! Likewise children working at lower grades are now being placed in set 2 again because their expected progress should show a better other on you data! Is it not taken into account that some children's approach to learning is different some 3 years later on? How are teachers now going to effectively manage sets that potentially now contain current ability ranges (set 1 - B1 to E1 and so on) should all children not be able to learn, achieve and thrive to the best of their own ability? Or are they just there to show expected achievement in line to create your headline figures? Worried parent who concerned maximum potentials for all children are not a priority :-(
