Good Morning,

my name’s Gustavo. I am a sixth grade student in the American Nicaraguan School, which is in Nicaragua.Today, I’ll talk about the defortestation.An estimation of 18 million acres have been destroyed and completely extinct because of deforestation. It is one of the baddest disasters of this world.

Honduras takes 37 percent of the world’s deforestation. Nigeria takes 36 percent and the Philippines takes 32 percent. My petition is asking companies and other groups of people to plant the double of trees cutted by them. Trees give us oxygen, without trees there’s no oxygen. Also, they help to fight the global warming which is very bad.

My opinion is that we need to have trees to make a good future for the next generation. For me, trees are the most beautiful resources. They gave give and will give us oxygen forever. However if we finish with their life they won’t be able to make such a good and beautiful favor. trees are nature, we need nature and they need us. We could make harmony with it and live in a peaceful world. For me, trees are beautiful, what do you think?

In conclusion, trees are the one of the little opportunities we have versus the global warming. If we continue with the deforestation we will decrease our good opportunities. When you cut down a tree or see somebody cutting down a tree remember to plant three instead of one. Also, tell this message to everyone you know, your dad, cousin, brother, mom and everybody in your family, neighborhood and who ever you find in the street. Maybe one day, we will really change this beautiful gift, the world.
