I am a staunch Labour supporter, but in now way do I back this change to Bexley's policing. Response times (if any!) are slow enough as it is, without being merged with another Borough that will be a huge drain on already deminished resources.

Please do not merge our police force in LBBexley with those of Lewisham and Greenwich. No good will come of it for residents of Bexley. The police forces in Bexley are already stretched and this will only make it worse.

Bexley has one of the lowest crime rates, and, having lived in the borough for the past 40 plus years, I’d like it to be kept that way.

Yet again the Mayor of London is ignoring the needs of Bexley. What evidence can Mr Khan produce to show this will not impact on public safety in Bexley?

The police response is bad enough now if this takes place we shall never see a police officer in Bexley.

This is something which cannot be allowed at any cost. All levels of government should realise building more homes means we need more police (and hospitals and gps and parks and fire services).
Quite stupid!!
Keep Bexley safe
