This would be like erecting a statue of Hitler in the middle of a Jewish community: wrong on so many levels. Why celebrate a man responsible for the enslavement, rape, and murder of an entire culture? It makes no sense! His actions do not merit monument erected in his honor and he especially does not deserve his own national holiday. This is ridiculous.

Millions have been spend on this statue, meanwhile Boriken is in despair where is the money coming from? How is this supose to help the economy? This is a disrespect to the people of Boriken. Honestly they all should be thrown in the deep sea every statue of this murderer should be destroy.
