Puerto Ricans need to stop honoring an ethnocentric history by glorifying the person who eradicated 90% of the Taino population on the island. What Christopher Columbus has done to Puerto Rico is unforgivable. Put another way, GENOCIDE is unforgivable!!!

Erecting a statue of Columbus on Indigenous lands. Is highly disrespectful to all indigenous people. Columbus is a symbol of genocide and is nothong of respect about him.
