I am purchasing a home in the 1400 block of Poland Ave and I oppose this completely understand. I also own 4537 St Claude and have a major stake in this area. Terribly unsafe intersection.

I own a property next to a package store and I am constantly battling trash and loitering. I asked for assistance many years ago via City Council and nothing changed. I also spoke with the ATC, NOPD, and at that time, there was nothing anyone said they could do to help. Based on my experience, I am strongly opposed to this and believe the City Council should put policies in place law to help with litter and loitterring that already surround the package stores that remain in this area.

This is NOT a good fit for the neighborhood. Please do not allow this to happen; it will decrease the property values, and is a giant step back on the progress of revitalizing the neighborhood .

Please consider the neighbors when you make your decision. Have you ever seen Poland when the bridge is up? I can't imagine how cars will able to navigate at this location.

I live around the corner to this new business and do not want them to serve alcohol. I am a mother and enjoy this quiet neighborhood.
