This bill is an evil bill to enslave radiographer registration board of Nigeria. Which is a regulatory body for Radiographers. Radiologist have a board which is Nigeria medical and dental council by virtue of being a medical doctor. So no need for this ambiguity.

The bill to establish the national council of radiology and radiation medicine is not acceptable as this will create and intensify the fire in the war already existing in the Nigeria health care system where Nigeria doctors thinks that they should be the head of the system. I say no to this bill. The sponsors are childish and lack knowledge and understanding of what radiography and radiology is all about.
Radiography is a profession of its own with its subspecialty while radiology is a subspecialty under medicine. Radiography practise is regulated by RRBN while radiology is regulated MDCN. The creation of this council will increase federal government spending in achieving nothing, because its existence is duplication of responsibility that federal government already has. The sponsors of this bill are evil and greed. I say a big no to this bill.

Radiology is not a profession not rather specialization. Radio gist is medical doctor by profession not a radiation custodian, he know less about the nature radiation and has no any license or training to radiation equipment. How can a radiologist regulate a board?this is selfish. In fact they know nothing concerning radiation protection. How can a medical doctor regulate the activities of different professionals like medical physics, and Radigrapher of which their bases are different?

I'm against any bill that will enslave a profession .Already there is a body that regulates the activity of radiographers why then creation of another than. It is pointless .

I am in support of this petition as a Radiographer we can't continue to talk something positive when it has a negative effect there can never be success in disaster so that is why we don't support and Creat an enabling environment for those cancer worms eating deep into the fabric of decency in the health sector we are Radiographers, we are not radiologist so we can

This bill is unnecessary as BN RRBN is already doing the work perfectly well. Each of the profession has its distinct role and bringing them together under one professional who is a medical doctor is oppressive and going to lead to staunt growth and development of other professions.

I vehemently say NO to this bill.
There is no need causing chaos in the Nigerian Health sector as some of the motives behind this bill are selfish and destructive.
Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria still Remains our National Body as Radiographers, and in this same body we want to continuously receive instructions and confide in.
We are professionals.
