Alex is wearing a PI shirt with a symbol of PI and a finite terminating decimal inside of the symbol implying that PI is not transcendental. As you know PI is transcendental, irrational, and as such non-terminating. Alex is consciously misleading the general public and contributing to the dumbing down of the American public. Please vote to have Alex remove his shirt!

It's criminal. If he wears it for the rest of the day, I'm going to call my father, a retired high school math teacher, to give poor Alex a lesson on the importance of respecting your transcendentals.

Some say only the first 39 digits of pi are important, citing those are the only digits needed to calculate the circumference of the known universe. Pssh – known universe...lazy... We can do better America. Say no to the slice! We want the whole pi!

Because of this shirt, I thought pi was a regular old rational number. I was laughed at by all my peers and it crushed my self-esteem. This shirt is a menace to society and should be incinerated at once. I would also accept a sharpie with an ellipsis (...) after the last digits to at least imply that this shirt is not the full story of pi. Either or.
