We hebben Macdonalds al uit Tervuren weggevochten en helaas moeten we het nu opnieuw doen. Het is zo frustrerend dat dit bedrijf het lef zou hebben om opnieuw een aanvraag in te dienen. We hebben minder dan een maand om ze nog een keer af te weren. Teken a.u.b. voor 20 mei deze petitie ter ondersteuning van NEE zeggen tegen Macdonalds in Tervuren. Het verkeer, het afval, de impact op onze lokale zaken en niet te vergeten de gezondheid van mensen zullen verschrikkelijk zijn. Geef commentaar en steun. Bedankt

We have already fought Macdonalds away from Tervuren and sadly now we must do it again. It is so frustrating that this company would have the audacity to apply again. We have less than a month to fight them off once more. Please sign this petition in support of Saying NO to Macdonalds in Tervuren before 20th May.

I am still waiting on that other petition link and I promise I will drop it here the second it hits my inbox because legal pressure is really just the only way forward now. It is honestly absurd that we are back at square one fighting this again but looking at all your comments it is clear that absolutely nobody here wants the traffic or the trash in our streets.

We have already the best hamburgers Smoke in the bar des copains next to the tram station and in the Spanish house in the park
Just no way..for so many reasons. Fast food beside a school? Additional traffic in an already strained area, the eyesore of massive Golden M for the everyone but especially the direct neighbours..I could continue
Please no Mac Donald’s in Tervuren. We already have enough Mac Donald’s in the area such as Overijse, Waterloo, Brussels etc
No mc Donald’s in a village. Near a highway no problem but not in this village.
It’s unnecessary and would have such a negative impact on the area!! It’s a small town with lots of local independent businesses, why does McDo need to be there!?

De plaats waar McDonalds wil vestigen is net naast 4 scholen waarvan 3 lagere scholen en op een heel drukke plaats waar veel kinderen te voet langslopen. Dit zal voor overlast zorgen van zwerfvuil, rondhangende tieners en extra verkeersgevaar voor de kinderen. Fast food is geen voorbeeld van gezonde voeding. In plaats van een fast food keten is er nood aan een gezellig koffiehuis dat gezonde voeding aanbiedt en een ontmoetingsplaats kan zijn voor de ouders die elke dag naar de lagere scholen komen. Tervuren staat al zo lang voor fair trade en eerlijke voeding. Fast food is verleidelijk voor kinderen en tieners (duidelijk de doelgroep van de keten) maar heeft geen plaats in onze mooie gemeente.
