Because the second half of Flash season 3 is becoming more and more of a downbeat over the lack of potential thrills and exciting action and too much time focusing on Barry and his team on so much gossip and for stalling on Savitar's return until now, the CW producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti are getting sloppy on the plotting of episodes in this show because of the following:

Holding up Savitar's return by ripping us off with Gypsy showing up early in the end of the mid season 3 premier episode, Barry talking to Wally in the end of episode 57 when it Yorkin infecting Iris before Wally could stop him proved it was a waste of time, making Iris tell Joe about Savitar killing her before Yorkin attacks her instead of after when it would have been cooler, holding back from having Caitlin betray the team as Killer Frost over her obsessive passion with her being a nerd like Cisco, and for not letting Grodd and his gorilla army trash at least 25% of Central City by making him stall by giving his position away to team Flash and waste time playing mind games with them as well as scaring the heebie jeebies out of Joe even more which is making the show end up on the same plot tone level as Supergirl season 1 from CBS and now with Barry being a deadbeat talking Solovar out of killing Grodd which is what's making the show have so many plot holes from Arrow.

This is why people on the internet who are real fans of Marvel and DC should not waste their time arguing with those who know that producers of every show and film based on comics should not be throwing all their potential away by holding back the best of characters, mistreating them over their own free will, holding back from making action in the shows and films more exciting over burdens of excuses, even budgets as well as not learning to let go of any characters that they are too plot passionate on over characters that are more favored.

To make sure CW doesn't make the rest of Flash season 3 disappoint there is only one thing we can do to convince them on how to make it better other than killing Iris uninterrupted or making sure Caitlin betrays team Flash as Killer Flash and since Barry dropped the spoiler for the next episode by saying "How do we know that Savitar isn't spying on us through Wally?" we need the producers to switch the speed god's target of being executed from Iris to the one person whose death by the Speed God will not be as irritating, disappointing or anymore of a setback than anyone else

Joe West and for GOOD REASONS:

1.Because having Joe suffer the loss of his daughter just like Quentin Lance suffering the loss of his daughter Laurel Lance from Arrow season 4 is awful

2.The show needs to retain it's potential edge

3.With Savitar having observed everything from team flash during his imprisonment in the speedforce, it would make sense for him to gain the advantage on Barry and make his kill sooner instead of later before Barry and his team could anticipate his attempts

4. With Iris being stubborn with her pride of not caring about villains like Grodd getting worse to deal with, it's better that she serves as the one who suffers in Savitar's prophacy of suffering fate worse than death

5. Joe West's death may disappoint but the benefit of it would make Barry have less people holding him back on being tougher and a more responsible hero since he collaborated with the reverse flash in episode 34, refused to help Harry stop Barry from bringing Zoom into Earth 1 out of such arrogance when it caused things to get much worse

6.Joe's death by Savitar and in a different location instead of Iris in the park would definately support Jay's explaination to Barry "Every Decision you make creates another alternative."

7 With Barry finally becoming more capable of taking the chance of taking a life to save thousands when he has too, having Joe killed off by Savitar in season 3 and with Iris being killed by the Black Flash in season 4 would definately help make him more capable of thinking optimistically without having anyone holding him back over their pride and foolish lack of concerns of safety despite how devastatingly painful it will be if they were killed by Barry's enemies.

8. Because Savitar is the most powerful villain in the Arrowverse, he definately should kill off a series regular instead of a recurring or minor character and it should be Joe instead of Iris because we don't want the producers giving us a hard time killing off anymore major characters we love so much

9. Having Savitar kill Iris, Jay, Julian, Jesse or Wally instead of Joe will only make things in the show much more of a downbeat if they don't learn to let go of their passion for non super powered characters and nerds

and

10. If they don't make Caitlin betray the team by the end of the third season, they should have Savitar kill Joe and not anyone else UNINTERRUPTED and let her relationship with Julian last another season longer.
