This petition is a human rights petition .The right to medical attention and treatment of life threatening hep -c with in the confinement of our prison system.Davon is only the face to a issue that is long over been ignored.Davon sits and waits while his liver is being destroyed.He is 23 years old and thinand showing signs of real deterioration.Davon was sentenced to 5 years for non injury aggravated assault.He threatened and was under the highest level of mental health care in the community.He suffers from learning disabilities and many mental health diagnosis .Davon is one of many that has fallen through the cracks of the system and is now livibg there.The dept of corrections has a death panel that decides whether a inmate is worthy of treatment .Most are denied as they say they are not indicated .Most like Davon continue to deteriorate and with poor diet and poor health care the virus mutates faster .They decide treatment based on how long they have left to serve and age and and mental health ect .This is inhumane to have a panel to decide .Davon will as well as many other eventually parish or have other issues untreated .Hep c is a silent Killer .Most are not tested and most unless symptamatc know that they even have it .It is spread by tatoos toothbrushes hair brushes blood to blood contact .The prison a tomb unleashing a breeding ground of desease.Please help and sign this petition .He as well as many others are suffering with out as much as a aspirin just testing .Davon has been denied treatment or a specialist ,cat scan or biopsy todetermine his liver condition .He has phlu like symptoms everday .Please have mercy on davon .He didnt hurt anyone and now in many opinion recieving a slow execution .Thank you very much for finding it in you hearts to care about davon a face a boy an issue being ignored a epedemic hep c and treatment .It is humanly civily and his right to not sufer .
