I don’t live in the district but I have friends that do. This family preserved this land for a reason. It was their decision what they wanted to happen to it. It shouldn’t be your decision to change that. Find another way.

We live in Silver Spring Township and loved seeing this open land ever since we moved here in 1976. It is a valuable piece of history and to destroy it would not only take away history, it would violate the promise made to the land's original owners. May the McCormicks haunt them if they decide to go through with this.

Thomas McCormick was my 5th great grandfather. I certainly want to see the farm and land preserved in the future as it has been in the past by the McCormick's.

I am an alumna of CV and I oppose the callous disregard of the school board for the historical and environmental role of the farm. I grew up close by and it deeply saddens me to see yet more open space lost to thoughtless development. I am disappointed in my alma mater.

As a CV school district resident, I am appalled at this land grab! Stop building schools you outgrow at day one. Build smarter and less schools! And for goodness sake, stop developing every open field in Cumberland County!
