Final supporters
As students of the Clinical Psychology Doctorate Program, we fear that the quality of the program we are in will be in jeopardy without qualified clinical psychologists as staff for the program. We are not a Phd program, we are not in the program just for the title but to actually learn from people with expertise in the field not people without appropriate training in the clinical psychology field. We are key stakeholders in this university and the decisions made, we pay a lot of money to receive a particular level of a service which we will not get without well trained staff.

I propose a PsyD faculty job announcement with the users, in this case PsyD students, included in its design. To qualifications, add competence, experience in PsyD work-therapy, teaching, research and cultural sensitivity.

Being in this program, I need to learn hands on and in practical terms. I find experience, passion, knowledge, skills, mentorship in Dr Watson. No doubt about it

I fully support this petition.As students we sit in those classrooms and are able to gauge the quality of service we are receiving. I have personally gained a great deal from Dr. Watson. She is a role model and a mentor in clinical psychology. We are adults and would not just ask her to stay if she was not delivering. Furthermore,we do need more Clinical Psychologist like Dr. Watson,Dr. Khasakhala who will help us thrive as professionals.Kindly fulfill your promise of providing a competent faculty in PsyD. We will then graduate and be competent enough to deliver quality service to the ones behind us. What is going on right now is ruining USIU's reputation. I love USIU and I would not like to see us fail.Kindly let us do away with petty politics that have nothing to do with Psychology.
