I practiced in a mid-sized legal firm for 30+ years in Clark County. As a result I had the opportunity to interview, hire and work with Clark paralegal grads. Time and again they were the most knowledgeable at interview and the best at adapting to actual practice upon employment. The Clark County citizenry, especially clients of attorneys, need the benefit of the services paras provide.

This program is vital to Clark County. It is the only in-person paralegal program in the area that teaches from a Washington legal perspective. It would be a disservice to the community to cut this program.

I have hired two graduates or participants in the program, and they have both been satisfactory.

I graduated from Clark with my Paralegal degree in 2011. This program is very helpful for all people joining the legal field and creating a positive community. It would be very sad for this to be cut and not an option to the current and future students.

We have hired at least 4 paralegals from the Clark program to work at our law firm over the past 10 years. The program supplies many law firms in town with excellent employees, many of which go on to work in the court system as clerks or judicial assistants. Please do not eliminate this program.

It was because of this program that I have my current job as a Family law paralegal. Please do not end it right before it gets ABA approval

Although my office has not hired anyone from this program, it is rapidly exapnding, just as the entire Clark County legal community. My firm in the very near future will be looking for competent, adequately trained paralegals in the future, and Clark College can continue to supply these paralegals in the future. Paralegals trained locally to meet the needs of Clark County are vital to this growth here in this community. Cutting this program would be detrimental to this community and a disservice for those astute andknowledgeable paralegals who wish to keep and use their talents here. Please keep this program in tact to sustain the need of this community.

Our law office hired a student out of this program and she has been a tremendous asset to our firm. Law offices are always looking for competent, educated and reliable legal assistants and paralegals and it's nice to have a go-to resource. Termination of this program would be a huge disservice to the legal community.
