This is obscene. This is one of the last green belts in the area. Saying that there will be a garden is not enough proof that this will be carried in practice as being presented, similar to other developments also by the same architect. Putting trees in an architect's drawing is not being respected in practice as often such areas are covered in concrete rather than a garden. What about protecting the modernist style of buildings of which these are a perfect example? Is there enough parking for such a development What will happen to adjacent church and the street landscape, also as seen from as far as Valletta and Floriana?

The site is adjacent to a schedule Grade 1 building, which is Fatima Church and the proposed development will obscure the importance of this building. It will pose a negative visual impact on the landmark building and therefore goes against the provisions of policy NHSE 08 in the same North Harbours Local Plan. Stop the destruction of our beautiful islands
