It is time to change the beneficiary age for Social Security. I propose that we increase the starting age by one (1) month per year starting at age 55 and progressing down to the point that a 20-year old today would not start receiving benefits until age 68. Unless and until we start to address this issue the program will be bankrupt before the 20-year old gets anything. I believe that Congress is paralyzed by the mistaken self-serving belief that making a prudent decision will jeopardize our vote for them at re-election time. Please join me in letting them know that we are willing to take a small risk on the future if they are willing to take a risk on our next vote!!
