Don't forget about this part of town- Price Chopper please be caring to the neighborhoods in which your " small" market supported! These people need food too and this store has been doing a fabulous job for many years. Please reconsider!

Taking a way this Price Chopper will present inconvenience and hardships on people in glens falls . Many without transportation depend on this store for easy access on foot.

The closure of this Price Chopper creates a food desert for thousands of people; people who do not drive or limited mobility. The patrons of this store have been loyal to this location for generations, and it is a slap in the face to close this store with minimal explanation, nor a plan in place with city leaders (who found out when we all did) as to how to alleviate this infrastructural problem of a food desert. We strongly urge you to reconsider this decision in the the interest of the health and welfare of thousands of loyal customers, who will now have to rely on smaller convenience stores will a vastly smaller, less healthy selection of food and groceries.

East End residents have a great need for a local grocery store. Many residents that don't have cars , either walk or cab it . A cab to the next closest store will cost more money to the people who can not afford it

I live in the East End, spending on average $100+ at this Price Chopper. It's a shame that Price Chopper never took into consideration what this particular store meant to the people who shopped there, especially the folks who walked there, and there are many. I will continue to shop there until the day it closes; after that, I WILL NEVER SPEND ONE PENNY IN ANOTHER PRICE CHOPPER. I might try Lewis's Supermarket in Hudson Falls[ 5-6 miles from my house]; i've never been there, but they are small, family-owned and hopefully they appreciate their customers more.

My sympathies are with the many, many non-driving seniors who use this store because they can walk here from their homes. As a smaller store, they can also shop without overly tiring themselves.

This store has been a part of my life since I was a child visiting my grandmother in glens falls, Byrne ave. Now that I have moved to glens falls, living on platt street, we visit this store regularly. It is an integral part to the neighborhood.
