I happily support policies that will increase job creation and investment in the Ontario mining industry, one of the most important industries of our province, and entire country.

Primary industries - farming, fishing, logging and MINING - feed everyone! Exploration and then mining provide the raw materials for the farmers, fishermen and loggers to deliver the goods so that the people in the urban centres live well! We make first dollar! Support Exploration and Mining in Ontario and Canada!

It is quite obvious our levels of government have a hidden agenda that serves the purposes of those select few with money enough to control our countries economy for their own personal gain. It is time the government weed out these individuals who are allowing this to happen to Canada, and stop tax money from being wasted on ridiculous matters that line the pockets of these elitists. Enough with the delays in tackling our huge debt load, and indenturing our next generations to serve as slaves to this "New Order". Stop hindering that which will see our country dig itself our of debt. Make the right decision and champion mining and resource development, instead of holding it back until international elitists give you permission, after they've used paid Indigenous and Environmentalist action to control it.

More exploration dollars spent in Ontario will lead to more exploration jobs and ultimately new discoveries and mines. With the current extra costs required for permitting, rehabilitation, closure and first nations consultations, along with the already high costs for exploration activities, having a substantial provincial METC will help reduce the risk for investors and bring in more money to the industry.

Expansion of METC is a critical step in improving the attractiveness of Ontario as a destination for exploration capital. The prospectivity of this province is among the best in the world and our policy should align with this. These $ stay in province creating thousands of jobs, provide the next generation of mines and support growth and development in the north. It is an investment with very high returns that should be a priority for our government. Thanks to PearTree for lobbying on behalf of all of us.

Fully support this recommendation. The benefits of this increase are far and wide and this decision should be a no-brainer.

The credits not only help the resource sector find our next generation mining opportunities but much of those exploration dollars are spent in northern regions that can certainly use the cash infusion.

Enough with the cuts, Ontario needs exploration investments to maintain a future in the global economy.

The incentives offered in Quebec through this program are highly effective and provide Quebec with a significant competitive advantage over Ontario when it comes to attracting mineral exploration investment - it is time for that to change

Canada's rich history of exploration and mining struggles as the costs of exploration continue to rise relative to other regions around the world. These credits play an immense role in attracting the capital investment needed to keep our industry alive.

Without support for this type of tax-credit funding Canada will not be able to sustain its current position as a leading mineral producer, which will lead to economic ruin for Canadians.
