All that the 14 year old Malala Yusafzai wanted was to be able to attend her school in the Swat valley.  She defied the radical Taliban and for that she got shot in the head and neck by cowardly masked gunmen.

Please support this petition to request that little Malala be granted a visa by the US State Department so her injuries can be treated in the US.

Separate petition will attempt to raise money for her fare and treatment.

Updates

November 2, 2012

I am currently communicating with medical facilities to ensure that a viable path for treatment is ready should the visa request be granted. The international attention regarding this situation remains vital as we continue to push for an official response.

November 2, 2012

The momentum behind this plea has reached a level that speaks volumes about our collective commitment to justice. It is clear that the response to Malala's situation has resonated far beyond our initial expectations.

This poor girl is so brave. What a hero. She belongs in school not fighting for her life because of some monsters.
