Saving Glens Falls Trees
Would you like Glens Falls to have better looking and healthier trees? My friend and I are doing a science fair project and entering an environmental competition to make the world a better place. What we are doing is we would like National Grid to stop pruning the trees every ten years in Glens Falls and change it to every two years. When they prune the trees every ten years they cut off many feet at a time. But we would rather have them do it every two years and chop off two feet. This would mean that the trees would grow around the power lines and not interfere with them. National Grid does it this way to save their company money. If our plan works we will make a law with the city council to force them to come down to a reasonable length. This would mean healthier trees and a more beautiful city. But we need your help.
