Epping is already at full capacity certainly with the ongoing traffic problems around our narrow roads.

Olga's son expresses brilliantly how observing the wildlife in the field adjoining his house gives him unlimited joy and the Earth is as much for the animals as for people. They have such little left and green spaces deserve protection. Stop the madness of development - it's unsustainable.

No to building on green belt. Protect our protected green spaces. Protect the community who already live there.

Wildlife is losing more and more of its safe places. Local services; doctors, schools, road maintenance and traffic can’t cope as it is.

Listen to the local people who do not want this land to be built on.

Stop this sacrilege! Our green spaces are not ours. They belong to future generations, not developers looking to make a profit.

This development will have devastating affects on the wildlife and residents of the area and is far too large.

I am writing in support of this petition to oppose development on the land behind The Orchards. This site is high-quality farmland within the Green Belt and plays a vital role in protecting the rural character of our area. Building on this land would result in the permanent loss of open countryside and would contribute to urban sprawl, fundamentally changing the nature of the local environment. Development here would also place significant additional pressure on local infrastructure, including roads, schools, GP surgeries, dentists, and other public services. Increased traffic, noise, and pollution would negatively affect the quality of life for existing residents, while public access to valued countryside routes such as the Essex Way would be diminished. The suggestion that this land should be treated as anything other than Green Belt is deeply concerning. Its purpose is to prevent the expansion of the town, preserve open space, and safeguard the wellbeing of the local community. I fully support the call to protect this land from development and to ensure that the Green Belt around Epping is preserved for current and future generations.
