So good to see a young man write like this. There are so many new builds around Epping now. And planning officers still refuse to look at the different sites as one. So anyone can build anywhere!

I walk and enjoy Stewards Green fields everyday. The fact this space is under threat again is so upsetting. The wildlife I encounter all throughout the year is so precious and needs to be protected and preserved

There are also birds of prey and bats that live in these fields and surrounding areas

I am proud of the 13 yr old to show his passion for nature .. After COVID it shows we need to save our green spaces. . Government look more. Britain cannot be covered in concrete. Jos choplin words I hear again.

As usual the government and epping forest council overlook everything to tick a box and build homes! Truly disgusting and i think this young man has been very brave and courageous to write this letter and inform everyone of this! Thank you

I wholeheartedly support Alex's petition as an Epping resident.

So many protected, old trees and varied wildlife will be destroyed for more housing which Epping can’t cope with.

We should preserve these areas, not destroy

Epping is being over built to the tune of approx 1000 properties over two sites. There is absolutely no intention to provide additional services (Doctors, schools). What was once regarded as ‘countryside’ will soon become a concrete extension of London.

I live near Epping, and rode my horse around the Epping countryside for many years. It is a fragile and beautiful part of our local area, and should be saved for future generations to continue to enjoy. Epping Forest is the lungs of East London… a hugely overpopulated area, which needs trees, plants and clean air to combat the awful pollution it generates. Please do not build on our green land.

As a family we are very much against the proposed builds of which there are now several within our CM16 7 area. So sad for our countryside

We will never get that greenery & nature back after it’s turned into a concrete jungle with Lego land box type houses…more people, more pollution with less services.

Alex had spoken gently yet forcefully against the proposed development. I hope that all Epping will support him so that the natural world on this particular area can be preserved. Thank you Alex.

I also worry about rain water run off. We already have flooding due run off, when the fields are covered in buildings and roads it will become even worse as it can't be soaked up by the land.

Save Epplng from this proposed disaster for local people and wildlife.
