Warrington Council is closing Westy Surestart Nursery in Warrington on the 31st March 2011 and this will affect many staff and children that love this nursery. The reasons behind this are unfair and this may be the start of local councils making cuts. Please, please help us to overturn this decision and show that the British public will not stand for this sort of cut that affects the youth of this country. The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with local council representatives to discuss the nursery closure. I am currently finalizing the evidence pack to ensure we keep the pressure on our decision makers.

This nursery is a lifeline for parents in the area. Where are the kids meant to go now? Ridiculous decision.
KEEP IT OPEN. My kids went here and it was brilliant. Stop cutting from the people who need it most.

Such a shame. This place has been part of the community for years. Really sad to hear this.
My grandson loves this nursery so much. The staff are amazing workers and they dont deserve to lose their jobs.
