The closure plans for our fire station have been officially scrapped. I am overwhelmed knowing that our local crews will stay right here where they belong. Thank you for helping me protect the people who protect us.

Seeing one hundred people put their name to this has been humbling for me because that station kept my brother safe during the worst night of his life. I never imagined this many neighbors would step up to protect our local crew.

My family has lived right next to Waltham station for years and I know how much we rely on their quick response time. We are almost at one hundred signatures so please send that email to the fire service today to keep our neighborhood safe.

Waltham needs this station. When there is a fire every second counts and driving from Grimsby will take way too long. Keep the station open!
Ridiculous decision. We pay our taxes for these services and they keep cutting everything local. Leave our fire station alone.
So worried about this. My house is close by and its just not safe to lose fire cover in the area.
Save the station. Its about time they looked at the budget somewhere else.
Our village relies on the local crew. Theyve always been there when things go wrong. Dont take this away from us.
