Villiers High School is a secondary comprehensive IN TROUBLE! Under the leadership of Ms Strang, this school has fallen from a "good" to "satisfactory" in Ofsted's report. During the last inspection, two fights had to be broken up by the inspectors THEMSELVES!! This is a letter we sent to the Ealing Gazette: ********** Dear Ealing Gazette, As former students of Villiers High School we are becoming increasing concerned with what we are hearing about the school within our local community. We were deeply saddened to see that this school, once rated good with outstanding features, has slipped to satisfactory on the Ofsted criteria. We were even more concerned about reports about the Ofsted inspector having to break up fights upon their inspection visit. In addition, we are sad to hear about the current plight of some of the experienced staff, many who have taught us and touched our lives in a positive way. The staff was the prime reason for our success, their enthusiasm and endeavor helped us throughout our school lives. We are collectively of the opinion that the head teacher is solely to blame for this state of affairs. Many of us still have relatives attending Villiers High School and they do not have anything positive to say about Ms Strang. Nothing at all. It is under her stewardship that the school has regressed and the amount of negative stories we hear within the community is ever increasing. We are also raising our worries with the local MP Virendra Sharma and councilors, as well as the school’s governors. Kindest Regards, Concerned ex-Students **********
