Too long have game enthusiasts sat and watched as the original stories of great video games, with already rich story lines and plots, are translated to film with stories and characters that drift too far from the original content. Too often have game enthusiasts been let down and severely disappointed by the lack of care film makers and film studios take with these properties. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is an already rich and engaging plot and story, and veering from the original story would not only be painful to think about, but would also be a grave financial mistake made by the studios involved. It is my belief that the director David O. Russell, and Sony have done no research whatsoever on the games original plot and characters and are attempting to ruin yet another "Video Game Movie". This petition is for the removal of David O. Russell from the project and the assigning of the original writer,Amy Hennig, to be involved in the writing of the films script. We are video game enthusiasts. We are the ticket purchasers. We are the viewers. Wouldn't it be wise to ask us for once what it is that "We" want?
