i live in Florida and Thunder road is one of my favorite rides to be on! If it is retired, that's one less thing to be excited about when visiting the carolinas.

Please keep Thunder Road . I worked in the rides department at Carowinds for 20 years and could operate Thunder Road . So many memories as an employee and as a guest. leave some tradition and history in the park not only is it a classic but this is still a fun and fast ride.

Please keep this iconic coaster. I feel you are getting rid of all the normal coasters and more family friendly rides to build giant scary coasters. Please consider keeping a variety of rides for attracting families, not just thrill seeking teens.

Please keep and restore Thunder Road to its glory! This is a huge part of the park's history and one of the last large wooden roller coasters around! Our kids just road this a few weeks ago and LOVED it! Please don't tear this down!

The first roller coaster I was able to ride as a little kid back in the 80's really hate to see it go .....I agree with earlier comment about removing the hurler instead.

Dont take this down, my grandpaw helped build this ride and it is the only thing i have left of him now that he has passed why not take down the hurler it has a lot more roughness to it and its not even fun anymore but thunder road is or even take away the gold rusher it is the oldest ride please dont do it.

This is my kids favorite rollercoaster. Try improving your general upkeep of the park before you spend more money on new rollercoasters.

Please don't take down Thunder Road. I grew up with that ride and Carowinds. > am 46 year old female. I always made sure I would ride Thunder Road every time I visit Carowinds. It is one of my favorite rides. Carowinds won't be the same without Thunder Road. I do miss some of the other rides that I like to ride that are no longer there now. You look forward to those rides when you come to Carowinds and when you see that there no longer there its sad. I realize that new rides help keep the park interesting and new but the old ones are still fun for us too.
