I have alot of wonderful memories on thunder road... I am absolutely appalled that carowinds would even consider such nonsense. I understand park growth and the need to expand/ but don't take an original icon away to do so.

With being a native to fort mill and loving to go to Carowinds when I was younger. This was my first roller coaster to ride. And with still living here my daughters first also. Please keep this wonderful ride that so many of us has loved.

Why would you tear down the most loved Rollercoaster at Carowinds? If it were a safety hazard I could understand but tear it down??? What to make room for something else? Carowinds won't be the same. It really wont. You have all the new and big Rollercoaster but I come for thunder road and by the remarks being made I'm not the only one. Hope this petition helps!!!

Not sure why it needs to be replaced, not everyone wants a new ride every year! Seems like all the old rides from Carowinds are going away one by one. You would think Carowinds would be proud to have a wooden track roller coaster up and still running after 39 years. Thunder Road is one of the last rides that Carowinds had from their early beginning . Carowinds should keep this icon!

Thunder Road is such a fun rollar coaster and its my favorite good wooden rollar coasters are hard to find, and its always nice to make changes, but not by removing something so important to the park and to the people that enjoy thunder road

I have been riding coasters since I was six years old, and I first rode this one with my dad when I was seven - the summer it first opened at Carowinds. I have ridden all kinds of fancy, fast, high tech coasters over the years, but NOTHING beats the ride of a great wooden coaster - and Thunder Road is the best!

Ghost town could be a#1 attraction if someone with a little common sense and ambission would take over and try !!!
Take the Hurler instead!
