It's what I look forward to riding every time I come. Without it, I think my family and I will just not bother coming.

I have always loved this ride, just like many of these kind people. I would hate to see this go. It has always been one of my favorite rides.

This ride is a historical piece of Carowinds. Ya'll should be ashamed of trying to tear down a piece of iconic history. I would just about bet that the only reason you're tearing it down is because you're now land locked and you can't expand anymore to better and faster rides with better technology.

I probably would not return to Carowinds for a good while, if even ever, if Thunder road is retired. It is my mothers favorite coaster, and it's my favorite coaster as well. It's a classic ride and is, in my opinion, more fun than the ones with hundreds of loops in it. Please don't retire thunder road, it would just be replaced with a new coaster that is the exact same as all the other ones.

Big money is so quick to get rid of the old and bring in the new without thinking of how it affects the history. Pretty soon our kids won't have any of it left. Leave a historical part of Charlotte alone and put the money into restoring it.

Why would you let go of such a great roller coaster not to mention one with such history?

My family will not be returning to Carrowinds if Thunder Road is torn down. This coast has heritage and history in the Carolinas.
