Thunder road was my first "big girl" ride. It solidified me as "big girl" and no more kiddy rides... I was sure I was going to get the chance to ride with my own child when he got of age....so many precious memories #redandblue, forward and backwards!!!!

My opinion...you should keep this as an icon...nothing wrong with changes but sometimes you keep something that made carowinds ...what it is...

New isn't always better!! nothing beats the thrill of a wooden coaster- Keep Thunder Road rolling :)

The roller coasters I loved are extinct now, Goldrush and White Lighting, now another favorite is disappearing. Thunder Road is a family favorite. I don't see the need to retire when people still stand in line to ride it every season. Take down the Hurler nobody likes it. Give the people what they want. Keep Thunder Road!!!!

Please don't close this ride. I have ridden it my entire life and am now sharing it with my kids.
It always has a line so it cant be that bad. Its something the adults can ride even if the kids wont.

This coaster is AWESOME!! Spend the money to make repairs - it's worth it!! If you've gotta get rid of something then boot out Hurler.

Please keep the wooden coaster... It's awesome and unique...it's si different from these modern ones... They are all do similar. The old wooden ride just sounds and feels diffrrent!
