Please do not shut thunder road down its The Classic roller coaster if u take it down your taking a piece of history from Carowinds. I vote it stays.

Please keep Thunder Road...it's a classic ! If you "have" to tear something down, get rid of the Hurler instead.

I first rode Thunder Road in June 1977. Loved it then and still love it now. I am shocked and saddened that an iconic Philadelphia Toboggan Company coaster will get destroyed. It's just not right.

I love waterparks, however, not enough to lose a classic wooden roller coaster over it. I find it very upsetting that Carowinds can't seem to find an alternate solution to this. Other Cedar Fair parks have built their water park around their classic wooden coasters (ex Kings Dominion). If they want to expand the water park, could they not just move employee parking--like over by the campground and shuttle employees back and forth?

I love Thunder Road! I'd much rather see Hurler get replaced, that ride is so jerky and rough. Racing coasters are a unique ride that can not be replaced.
